Private Pilot Licence
You may have just completed your Recreational licence in the 2 seater Tecnam as part of your plan to fly larger 4 seater aircraft! This means your ready to convert to flying a "General Aviation" aircraft such as a Cessna 172.

Stage One PPL
1. Application for the student licence with CASA and medical checks
2. Secure Air Flight Training instructor will sit down with you and map out your flight training required for the General Flying Progress Test (GFPT). Minimum 15 hours of dual flight and 5 hour solo
3. Theory exams are prepared for. Your choice for tuition or self study.
4. Testing for the flight test with the Chief Flying Instructor

Stage Two PPL
1. Navigation training involving a minimum of 15 hours dual and 5 hours solo
2. PPL theory examination covering Meteorology, navigation and basic aeronautical knowledge, Human Factors, General aircraft knowledge. Personalised courses are available.
